Party planned after Phu Phrabat Unesco plaudit

The government may hold a ceremony to place the World Heritage logo at Udon Thani Province’s Phu Phrabat Historical Park on Friday.

The traditional area, according to Culture Minister Sudawan Wangsuphakijkosol, is a testament to the 8th-century Sima stone custom of the Dvaravati time.

3, 662 ray and contains evidence of human settlements dating all the way back to the Bronze Age, including drawings of humans and animals, are the focus of the traditional area, which is known for its unique sandstone rocks.

The page was named a Unesco World Heritage site in the social type, becoming Thailand’s five cultural identity page.

The minister even urged nearby residents to join the celebration at a ceremony held by the Fine Arts Department on Friday at 4pm.

” We will continue to advocate for the development of novel world heritage sites in every area of Thailand,” said Ms. Sudawan.

In 1991, Ayutthaya, Sukhothai, and Thungyai-Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary were both listed as ancient settlements.

Ban Chiang Archaeological Site ( 1992 ), the Dong Phayayen-Khao Yai Forest Complex ( 2005 ), the Kaeng Krachan Forest Complex ( 2021 ), and the Ancient Town of Si Thep and its Associated Dvaravati Monuments ( 2023 ), followed by them.
