
RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s military on Saturday ( May 10 ) said three of its air bases had been attacked by Indian missiles, including one on the outskirts of the capital Islamabad near the army headquarters.
” India, with its dressed anger has attacked with weapons. Nur Khan center, Merupakan center, and Shorkot foundation have been targeted”, defense official Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said in a live telecast aired by state television.
” Then you just wait for our answer”, he warned India.
Nur Khan heat center in Rawalpindi, where the government has its headquarters, is around 10km from the cash Islamabad.
Earlier, an army spokesperson said , India fired ballistic missiles that fell in Indian territory, announcing it in a sudden statement on national broadcaster at 1.50am local time ( 8.50pm GMT ) on Saturday, with no details provided to support the claim.
” I want to give you the stunning news that India fired six nuclear missiles from Adampur. One of the nuclear weapons hit in Adampur, the rest of the five rockets hit in Indian Punjab region of Amritsar”, the military’s official said in his short film speech.
Amritsar’s city director in a text message between Friday and Saturday said:” Don’t worry. Siren is sounding as we are under red notice. Do not worry, as previously, keep lights off, walk away from windows. We will tell you when ready to resume strength supply”.
India has never commented on these states.
