Pakistan: Thousands defy police in support of Imran Khan

Imran Khan’s transfer has been demanded by thousands of opposition protesters in Pakistan’s money, which is heavily guarded by a barrage.

The fleet, which is aiming for a circle in Islamabad’s center, has previously clashed with security forces, who have been aiming tear gas and rubber shots at the protesters to separate them.

According to the prime minister’s office, four separatists have been killed in a hit-and-run, which it has blamed on Khan’s adherents. This has not been independently verified.

Khan has been incarcerated for more than a year and is facing a number of claims and prison sentences, which he claims are politically motivated.

The former cricket star has proven to be a powerful force in Pakistan elections even while he is still imprisoned. During elections in February, his Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf ( PTI ) party, which had been forced to run candidates as independents, emerged as the single largest bloc.

But, they fell short of the lot and their foes united to form a new state.

In response, protesters are also suing the state to overturn election results they claim were skewed.

Khan issued a “final phone” to his followers, asking them to stay in the cash until their needs are satisfied, and called on them to do the same over the weekend.

Following the authorities ‘ decision to outlaw public gatherings, that was done.

The authorities responded by blocking Islamabad’s roads with shipping containers, and hauling in policeman from across the nation.

The protesters turned down an alternative location, according to Pakistan’s interior minister, who said they had been offered.

Due to fears of violence, some online services have been suspended, and colleges and schools have been closed.

The opposition has now spanned the city center after time on the road.
