Top party images believe that after the party elects new leaders and executives on Friday, Paetongtarn Shinawatra will be overwhelmingly favored to take over the leadership of the ruling Pheu Thai Party and direct a promising crop of young politicians in the shifting of watch.

Acting assistant party chief Phumtham Wechayachai announced on Tuesday that Ms. Paetongtarn, the head of the Pheu Thai Family and the youngest daughter of former premier Thaksin Shinawatra, will be the party’s new leader. & nbsp,

Given her age and political knowledge at the age of 37, she is now qualified for leadership, according to deputy prime minister and commerce minister Mr. Phumtham. He also emphasized her involvement in previous election activities with Pheu Thai people and her concern for their needs.

But, Mr. Phumtham suggested that Ms. Paetongtarn might need to speak with her family before deciding whether to run for office.

He also acknowledged that there are a number of qualified members, ranging from 20-year-olds to middle-aged aspirants with ties to Pheu Thai’s predecessors, the Thai Rak Thai ( TRT ) Party, and PPP, its successor. The TRT and the PPP were both disbanded due to political fraud.

Mr. Paetongtarn is well-suited to take the helm of Pheu Thai, according to Mr. Prasert, as she commands value and is skilled at managing the gathering. The people does, however, have the last say in the vote.

Mr. Prasert said it is time for the new generation of politicians to lead the party, but he declined to take over as secretary-general.

He continued,” More domestic changes were in store, which would get the party ready for the next poll.”

Pheu Thai could now face off against the main opposition and election-winning Move Forward Party ( MFP ), which is made up primarily of young politicians, by appointing new leadership and executives. & nbsp,

Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, who was Pheu Thai’s choice for prime minister, spoke on Sunday in favor of Ms. Paetongtarn leading the gathering, citing her leadership skills.
