The “Top Chef” superstar tweeted Sunday that will she is “relieved” Rushdie is “pulling by means of after Friday’s nightmare” in which he was stabbed multiple times while on phase in New York.

She had been married to the famed author from 2005 to 2007.
Rushdie, 75, has long been the subject of threats because of controversy more than some of his writings.
“Though his life changing accidents are severe, his usual feisty & defiant sense of humor remains intact, ” his son Zafar Rushdie said in a statement.
Hadi Matar, 24, of Fairview, New Jersey, has been arrested by a condition trooper after the attack and taken straight into custody as the suspect responsible for the stabbing.
