Owner of Mountain B pub taken to Pattaya Court

CHON BURI: The owner of Mountain B pub was delivered to Pattaya Provincial Courtroom on Wednesday intended for arraignment on 2 counts in connection with the particular inferno at the bar that has claimed nineteen lives and remaining many other patrons grievously burned.

Somyos Panprasong, fifty five, was escorted to the court around 10. 15am by a group of five Phu Ta Luang police,   led by deputy investigation chief Pol Capt Boonsong Yuenyong.

He kept a straight face as he was taken to the police vehicle and did not give a push interview.

Mr Somyos reported to Phu Ta Luang police in Sattahip district, Chon Buri, upon Tuesday morning following a court warrant has been issued for arrest in connection with the horrific Aug 5 open fire.

He was charged with recklessness, causing fatalities and injuries, plus opening and working an entertainment venue without permission. He or she initially denied the particular charges.

The warrant had been issued after law enforcement confirnmed that Mr Somyos is in fact who owns and investor within the pub, which was run by his child Pongsiri Panprasong, 27.

Up to now, the death toll from the fire can be 19 people, numerous more customers  struggling critical burns.
