A few from Philippines has been detained in Bangkok after reportedly selling 10 kg of dried cannabis abroad.

Immigration authorities arrested John Andrew Tiangson, 35, and his family Eena Bianca Marie Cruz, 30, on Tuesday at a house on Soi On Nut 65 in Prawet area, Pol Maj Gen Phanthana Nuchanart, assistant commander of the Immigration Bureau, said on Wednesday.

Specialists in the Philippines advised them to make their arrest in response to a report that 10 kg of dried cannabis had been intercepted in February of this year. The package had been delivered to Manila from Thailand. &nbsp,

According to Pol Maj Gen Phanthana, dried weed may collect about 975 baht per kilogram in the Philippines. In Manila, the seized hemp had a estimated street value of 10 million baht.

Investigators discovered that a Spanish pair had sent the package. They had their visa overstayed by nine years, according to additional assessments.

Immigration officers detained the pair it and took them to a house on Soi On Nut 65. They were given to Prawet authorities for legal actions and subsequent imprisonment.
