
Singaporeans can now access an online tool to compare health insurance premiums and plans offered by various providers and learn more about the long-term MediSave and cash costs associated with their coverage, which was released on Wednesday ( Mar 26 ).
The “interactive and personalised” tool, which is the first of its kind in Singapore, according to a joint press release from the Ministry of Health ( MOH) and the Central Provident Fund ( CPF ) Board.

The manager, according to CPF and MOH, is intended to assist Singaporeans in visualizing their long-term MediSave benefits and health insurance rates.
They can also anticipate up to 30 years of premiums for both their chosen IP and rider by comparing key features and costs across Integrated Shield Plans ( IPs ) based on their preferred ward type.
According to the government, Singapore has three different levels of care coverage: MediShield Life, IPs, and users.
According to them, MediShield Life, the national standard health insurance plan accessible to all Singaporeans, offers “universal and longtime protection against huge hospitalization expenses and outpatient procedures like cancers and dialysis.”
Seven in ten Singaporeans have purchased Firewall, which are offered by personal insurers and provide “additional coverage for care at private hospitals or unsubsidized wards in open hospitals.”  ,
Some Singaporeans, according to the government, will even purchase users to lower the cost of IPs.
The MediSave you pay part of the premiums for IPs, while the horse premiums are fully reimbursable in cash.
