The , Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and authorities said they were alerted to a fireplace at Block 76 Lorong Limau at about 2.30am.  ,
The flames could be seen raging inside a device on the fifth floor of the Housing Board prevent when first firefighters arrived at the scene.
According to SCDF, firefighters had to forcefully enter the apartment, adding that the entire system was impacted by the fire.  ,
