
The BBC is in Nay Pyi Taw, the capital of Myanmar, to witness the death brought on by a strong earthquake that struck on Friday.
More than 200 kilometers ( 125 miles ) from Nay Pyi Taw, it hit central Myanmar, close to the city of Mandalay.
Aftershocks have caused a lack of rest and the inability to recover, according to a nearby resident. After an incident department collapsed, wooden facilities were established.
In Myanmar, more than 1,700 people have died and hundreds have been injured as a result of the earthquake.
