North Korea floats trash balloons towards South

SEOUL: &nbsp, North Korea on Sunday ( Jul 21 ) was floating balloons carrying trash towards South Korea, the South’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said.

In response to what it called the “despicable, terrible and rude” release of balloons by Pyongyang carrying debris across the border, South Korea’s military resumed its round-the-clock speaker spread plan targeting North Korea on Friday.

North Korea has been displaying dozens of balloons with bags of filth on them since May, which has caused tension between the two countries.
