SEOUL:  , North Korea accused the United States on Saturday ( Apr 27 ) of politicising human rights in the East Asian country, denouncing what it called political provocation and conspiracy.
A foreign government spokesman, cited by state media Efforts as saying that Pyongyang will create harsh and crucial decisions to defend its sovereignty and safety in response to Washington’s use of human rights as a tool for an invasion and angry, anti-North Korean behavior.
A special negotiator on human rights was named by the director for President Joe Biden. Julie Turner, the minister for human rights in North Korea, traveled to Seoul and Tokyo in February to explore the country’s human rights situation.
The State Department’s quarterly report this week outlined” significant human rights problems” in North Korea.
