By 2029, the Department of Highways ( DoH) plans to construct a new, nearly 15 billion baht road that will connect Bang Bua Thong in Nonthaburi and Bang Pa-in in Ayutthaya.
This road is one of 46 jobs scheduled to start in the upcoming two years, according to DoH director-general Sarawut Songsivilai. The committee approved the Motorway No 9 ( M9 ) project in September, and it is anticipated that it will be a crucial component of the 2024 Nation Strategy.
According to Mr. Sarawut, this task is now past the style and costing stages and does not require expropriation. It resembled a restoration of the current system, he claimed.
The second span, which is split into two sections, starts in Bang Bua Thong and ends in Lat Lum Kaeo in Pathum Thani. According to Mr. Sarawut, the range is 13.5 kilometers and the funds will be about 4.3 billion ringgit.
The second portion will cost 10.4 billion ringgit and cover a 20.6 km distance from Lat Lum Kaeo to Bang Pa-in.
According to Mr. Sarawut, the route should be functional five centuries after construction begins.
