Previous lawmaker Somchai Swangkarn claims that the Criminal Court has upheld the Criminal Court’s decision to reject former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra’s ask for a trip to Qatar.
Mr. Somchai wrote on  on Twitter that he cited a supply in the justice system as saying that Thaksin’s appeal against the refusal had been denied for two factors as cited by the lower court.
According to Mr. Somchai’s blog, there is no evidence of a planned meeting between US President Donald Trump and President Thaksin in Qatar, and the travel times would be too close to the June 13 receiving on his contentious stay at the Police General Hospital.
On Sunday, Winyat Chartmontree, Thaksin’s attorney, could not be reached for comment.
Mr. Somchai claimed to have been informed that Thaksin had instructed his attorney to file an appeal on May 9, and the Appeal Court upheld the request on May 10.
According to the cause, Thaksin submitted the demand to travel to Qatar on Thursday along with documents and information about his journey programs, along with foreign minister Maris Sangiampongsa as a testimony.
Although he had previously been permitted to attend an Asean gathering in Malaysia on February 2 and 3 and another Asean conference in Brunei on February 19 and 20, the Criminal Court determined that the offer was a personal matter.
Although his camp claimed earlier that the jury selection was a “lost prospect” for the country, no response was provided by Thaksin.
In accordance with his parole, Thaksin is prohibited from leaving the country without permission while the case is pending with the test of a lese-majeste and computer murder case brought in response to a 2015 meeting in South Korea. This July, see testimony is expected.
