NAKHON RATCHASIMA: The leader of the Pheu Thai Party, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, is prepared to become prime minister, but that wo n’t happen until the following year, according to the party’s secretary-general.

During a party conference on Thursday in the northern province, Sorawong Thienthong made the remark about the likelihood that Ms. Paetongtarn would be in charge of the government.

We have a responsibility to support the party’s ( prime ministerial ) candidate for the position of next prime minister. He said, referring to Ms. Paetongtarn, who took over as the Pheu Thai president in October,” We are available, and so is our party head.”

The 37-year-old child of Thaksin Shinawatra, a Pheu Thai father and former prime minister, was one of two candidates for the position put forth by the group in the May public election.

When asked if the nation would have a new sexual prime minister the following month, Mr. Sorawong responded that it was unlikely because the current premier, Srettha Thavisin, was working diligently and effectively.

According to Mr. Sorawong,” Ms. Paetongtarn is concentrating on her work for the group rather than on management.” She wants to regain the party’s power.

With 141 chairs, Pheu Thai finished next in the poll. However, he is now in charge of the government after the Move Forward Party, which received 151 votes in total, was unable to form a partnership. Today, Move Forward is in charge of the opposition.

Pheu Thai, which had been pleading with voters to give it a “landslide” triumph to confirm it was kind state without being thwarted by the military-appointed Senate, was bitterly disappointed with the election outcome. In the end, it was compelled to include celebrations with military ties in its coalition in order to win the top house’s support.

Improved communication channels from constituents to group MPs and the Pheu Thai-led state, according to Mr. Sorawong, would be one of the keys to reestablishing his dominance.

The celebration is expanding its net” Pheu Thai Family” network, according to Ms. Paetongtarn, to enhance communications between the celebration and the general public.

She also emphasized that Pheu Thai belonged to all group MPs and people and was not a member of her home.
