A previous Move Forward Party leader claims that it has been done before and that political parties should not be anxious about putting it into practice.

Chaithawat Tulathon, who spoke on the occasion of the 48th celebration of the murder of learners and protesters at Thammasat University on October 6, 1976, said on Sunday that students and members of the public who were connected to the horror faced a variety of changes, including violations of Segment 112 of the Criminal Code or the der guess rules.

In 1978, a law was passed to offer an asylum to the der qualifications criminals. There is nothing novel about it, and it goes to show an asylum for such an infraction.

” Being faithful or not is useless, “he said.

Mr Chaithawat, now a member of the People’s Party ( PP ), the MFP’s successor, was member of the House standing committee studying the amnesty law. He stated that he was interested to know when the council’s report on the asylum debate will be discussed in parliament.

Due to the sensitivity surrounding the issue, some events are opposed to having lese guess criminals covered by an asylum, citing the sensitivity surrounding the issue. The conversation, which was scheduled for Oct 3, has been postponed.

The research has proposed three options: an absolute amnesty for Area 112 offenders, provisional amnesty and no asylum.

Four costs, sponsored by the MFP, Democrat Party, Thai Teachers Party, United Thai Nation Party and a political party, are vying for entrance to congress. Although the majority of them steer clear of der majeste offenders, their main goal is to stop wrongdoing in political cases.

” We should arguments and let the matter crystallize as soon as possible,” said Mr. Chaithawat. He said it was the committee’s statement which parliament did deliberate, not an asylum costs, as many have understood.

Through the discussion, society will be able to determine whether a der qualifications offenders ‘ amnesty has any bearing. How people will interpret the proposed asylum may have a significant impact on how the bill will be shaped.

” Parties should n’t be too worried about this, “he said, noting the matter has split opinions. A contingent asylum is supported by several parties, according to Mr. Chaithawat.

No group has convened a meeting to discuss the asylum, according to PP secretary-general Sarayut Jailak. PP had then forth its bill to the House after parliament has examined the commission’s research.

In the meantime, Thai Sang Thai Party deputy president Chaowalit Wichayasut claimed that halting the panel’s study was done to temporarily ease tensions.

He suggested that the document be revised, with only those who are accused of political crimes or criminal offenses motivated by political serves as beneficiaries. To avoid putting an impediment in the fight for an amnesty laws, lesser qualifications offenders should not be included in the amnesty.
