As part of an annual National Down Syndrome Society( NDSS ) event, Nandika Valiramani, aka Nicky from Bangkok, will make an appearance in the bright lights of Broadway in New York on Saturday.
The NDSS annual Buddy Walk and video presentation, which begins in Times Square and on Facebook Live from & nbsp, 9.30 am to 10.30am local time( 8.30pm to 9:30pm in Bangkok ), will feature her photo.
There will be about 500 pictures screened that feature Down syndrome sufferers. According to the NDSS, these pictures make a clear case for the importance, understanding, and addition of Down syndrome sufferers.
From more than 2,400 entries in the NDSS global call for pictures, a picture of Ms. Nandika was chosen.
