Changes ON GOING RAIL Tasks
The proposed West Coast Extension, which will connect the upcoming Jurong Region Line ( JRL ) to the Circle Line (CCL), was also updated by Mr. Chee.  ,
By the late 2030s, Phase 1 will extend the JRL from Pandan Reservoir Station to connect to the Cross-Iland Line ( CRL ) at West Coast station. Phase 2 will be carried out in two phases. By the first 2040s, Step 2 will extend the JRL more, connecting it to the CCL from West Coast stop to Kent Ridge station.
According to Mr. Chee, the expansion could shorten commute times for travellers heading east toward the city center by up to 20 hours.  ,
By providing an alternate via the CRL and to the town center via CCL, he added,” The West Coast Extension may also enhance the overall endurance of our road community.”  ,
At a later time, more information, including stop locations, will be revealed.  ,
Till the end of this century, fresh facilities or ranges will be added every time, according to Mr. Chee.  ,

Because the plans will cross various terms of government, it also requires political balance, as well as a powerful government that you schedule long-term, and have the resources to change these plans into reality.
