According to a National Security Council ( NSC ) source, talks between the government’s peace team and the Barisan Revolusi Nasional Melayu-Patani ( BRN ) begin on Tuesday in Malaysia.

In the negotiations, which will last for two days, NSC assistant secretary-general Chatchai Bangchuad will be in charge of the team, and Anas Abdulrahman, a senior BRN standard, may serve as the rebel party’s negotiators.
