On a subpoena issued in China, the wife of the person who created the questionable Chinese-language billboard selling overseas passports for sale in Bangkok was detained on Wednesday at Don Mueang airport.

Qin Ling, 33, had been in the Immigration Bureau’s tracking system after an arrest warrant was issued by Chinese government for ID cards fraud, said Pol Lt Gen Itthipol Itthisaranachai, the commission key.

The commission plans to apprehend Mr. Qin, according to Pol Lt. Gen Itthipol, whose force to stay in the country had also been revoked.

According to an investigation, Mr. Qin is the father of Xu Na, 35, who was detained on Tuesday in connection with the Huai Khwang district’s notoriously publicized banner.

Over the weekend, a poster promoting 30-day support for those seeking a foreign card or citizenship was spotted and caused a significant uproar online. According to researchers, one of the figures on it was Mr. Qin’s mobile phone number.

On Wednesday, Ms. Xu was taken to the Bangkok North Municipal Court. She was charged with operating without a permit, ordered to assist four months in jail, give a fine of 5,000 pounds, and be added to the immigration list.
