New AG gets the green light

The visit of Deputy Attorney General Phairach Pornsomboonsiri to triumph Attorney General Amnat Jedcharoenruk has received royal support.

Mr. Phairach’s session may take effect on October 1, according to an statement made on Friday in the Royal Gazette.

The Senate approved his nomination earlier this month, with 184 seats in behalf, two against and nine nays.

Born on Jan 27, 1960, Mr Phairach graduated from Chulalongkorn University with a bachelor’s degree in law ( First Class Honours ) in 1980. He then obtained a Master of Law from Tulane University in 1983 and graduated from the Thai table in 1982.

Over the years, Mr Phairach has worked to promote freedom security, and one of his accomplishments is collaborating with the Foreign Ministry. Lawyers are tasked with giving lectures and getting legal counsel to Thai embassies worldwide under this job.

Additionally, he was a member of the non-profit organization’s executive committee, the International Association of Prosecutors ( IAP ), where prosecutors from all over the world meet and exchange information.
