Negative test for suspected Trat case

A person initially suspected associated with carrying the monkeypox virus has examined negative for the condition, according to public wellness authorities in Trat.

The suspected carrier, whom officials previously documented as a German national, was in fact People from france.

Doctor Surachai Jeamkul, mouthpiece chief of Trat Provincial Public Wellness Office, yesterday said a lab check confirmed the man examined negative for monkeypox.

Nevertheless , the result must be confirmed again with the Growing Infectious Disease Center of Chulalongkorn Medical center today.

Officials also learnt that the man had travelled to other provinces including Phuket plus Chon Buri, with his travel record additional showing a recent seven-month stay in Trat’s Koh Chang district.
