Need a wingwoman? Matchmaking genius Anisa Hassan is on a mission to help set up 1 mil marriages

“But after that COVID-19 happened and as you know, the whole world shut down, ” she stated.

Luckily, word about Joompa got close to and the app was launched, albeit in a muted fashion.

A newer version of the application is expected to become launched in January 2023, which will include a feature that allows users to update their particular dating progress. For instance , users who have discovered their perfect go with can update their particular status with “in a relationship” or even “got married”. In case effective, this will help Anisa and her group track the number of lovers they have brought together.

  A MISSION-DRIVEN BUSINESS

Anisa said the initial few months of the pandemic were the most tense period of her lifetime. A big part of the girl work was face-to-face and because COVID-19 restricted contact among people, she had “no business and zero revenue”.

Like most businesses, Day High Flyers had to find creative ways for their clients to satisfy and get to know one another. Luckily, some were proactive, with a single 60-year-old client choosing to talk with his complement, a 49-year-old female, on the phone instead.

“He preferred to talk over the phone – the particular old-fashioned way, you know? They would text ‘good morning’ and ‘good night’ to each other, and in the evenings, they will talk on the telephone. He even delivered her Spotify playlists so they could listen to romantic music jointly, ” she said.

The couple were combined in April 2020 and did not meet up with until August, making it a five-month courtship without seeing one another, not even virtually.

By December, these were married.

“(The dating application culture is typically) a culture meant for hook-ups. But for me, I’m very serious regarding people finding their particular life partner, ” stated Anisa.

Having a big goal to work towards is really a reminder for Anisa that her company is more than a company.

“Some people build a business because they want to that. I can do that easily want to but I think there’s no meaning to it. When you reach a certain age, similar to your 40s or even 50s, your life should revolve around a purpose, a mission. Lifestyle becomes exciting when you have something to look forward to.

“When you get up in the morning, you would not want to do something for the money. You want to do it to the freedom (that it provides you). And you want to do something that really extramarital relationships because then you will know what to say whilst you meet your ‘maker’ and they ask you ‘What have you finished this world? ’” he said, adding that she also wants to be described as a good role brand for her children.
