Narathiwat bomb blast injures 8 soldiers

Authorities in Pattani are also on call after surveillance cameras were stolen.

In a wayside blast thought to be the job of insurgents in the Rangae region of this southern border province on Thursday, eight soldiers were hurt.

In Ban Hulu Pare, tambon Tanyongmat, the impromptu weapon was tucked into a energy pole by a neighborhood path. The attackers blew it up as a defense pickup truck carrying men passed by.

The power shaft was toppled by the explosion, and the pickup truck’s windshield and windows were destroyed.

The men were rushed to Rangae Hospital with their wounds. &nbsp,

The men from the 4805 Ranger Task Force were out gathering timber for a wooden station, according to the security forces at the time of the invasion.

Specialists believe that the attack was carried out by militants living nearby.

Security forces in Pattani were on call in the wake of the fraud of surveillance cameras in the Thung Yang Daeng district’s tambon Paku.

The devices were taken out of a football field and from the roads of Ban Paku and Ban Sai Khao. The incidents were thought to have occurred between 3 p.m. on September 23 and 6 p.m. on September 24.

According to a regional security supply, the cameras may have been taken by a group that intended to attack provincial security forces, prompting authorities to take precautionary measures.
