N-Level results to be released on Dec 16

SINGAPORE: The results of the 2024 Singapore-Cambridge N-Level examinations will be released on Dec 16, the Ministry of Education ( MOE ) and the Singapore Examination and Assessment Board ( SEAB) said in a joint press release on Monday ( Dec 9 ).

Individuals may pick up their secondary school results at 2 p.m. Their respective institutions will share information regarding the series strategies. &nbsp,

According to MOE and SEAB,” School candidates who are unable to obtain their results in people may appoint a surrogate to obtain a physical backup of their results from the college.” &nbsp,

Candidates may call their classrooms for help with the nomination of a proxy, according to MOE and SEAB, adding that substitute candidates must produce the necessary paperwork for the school’s confirmation when collecting the results.

Personal candidates using Singpass can access SEAB’s candidates website starting at 2.45 p.m. on December 16 and use their Singpass account to access their results. &nbsp,

Those who don’t have a Singpass account can access their results through the site using the accounts they created when registering as applicants.

TECHNICAL EDUCATION COURSES AT Academy OF

Candidates wishing to enroll in courses offered by the Institute of Technical Education ( ITE ) can apply online through the ITE application portal between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on December 19. &nbsp,

Application forms can also be found in hard copy at the three ITE schools ‘ customer and visitor centers. &nbsp,

To obtain the hard copy application forms, those who want to make an appointment should first make a call to the relevant schools. &nbsp,

Candidates can access the ITE program portal’s interview details starting at 2pm on December 20 for courses offered through aptitude-based admissions.

Individuals may check the posting benefits online via the ITE program website at 9am on December 30 and the ITE posting benefits will be released with the results at 9am on December 30. &nbsp,

Those who receive an ITE offer may log on to the portal&nbsp, between 9am on Dec 30 and 11.59pm on Jan 3, 2025, &nbsp, to accept or reject the present.

DIRECT-ENTRY-SCHEME TO POLYTECHNIC PROGRAMME&nbsp,

For the Direct-Entry-Scheme to Polytechnic Programme ( DPP ), eligible school candidates will receive a copy of Form N from their secondary schools, inviting them to apply for the programme. &nbsp,

Through a two-year Higher Nitec program at ITE, the DPP prepares applicants for admission to selected technical diploma courses.

Candidates who successfully finish their Higher Nitec program and meet the minimum eligibility grade point average are guaranteed a spot in a technical certification course mapped to their Higher Nitec program under the program. &nbsp,

Between 2 p.m. on December 16 and 5 p.m. on December 19, applicants for the DPP may be submitted online through the ITE application site. &nbsp,

Individuals can test their posting results online via the ITE program website at 2pm on December 20 and the DPP posting results will be released at 2pm. &nbsp,

To accept or reject an offer, those who receive one should log on the portal between 2 p.m. on December 20 and 11 p.m. on December 26.

Candidates who have not been confirmed for a position in the DPP should attend their secondary school in 2025 for Secondary 5.

POLYTECHNIC FOUNDATION PROGRAMME

Students who want to apply for the Polytechnic Foundation Programme ( PFP ) should begin their Secondary 5 school year in 2025 while awaiting confirmation of eligibility and placement.

The Polytechnics ‘ PFP program is a diploma-specific foundation program that is offered over two academic semesters. It is intended for Normal ( Academic ) students who have decided to pursue a polytechnic education and who meet the program eligibility requirements at the end of Secondary 4.

On the day the O-Level results are released, PFP applications will begin in January 2025. On the same day that they are invited to apply, those who are eligible for the program will receive a copy of Form P.

According to MOE and SEAB, candidates are advised to research the variety of career options and educational options available to them to help them determine their next steps. &nbsp,

In their respective secondary schools, students can consult with their teachers or education and career guidance (ECG) counselors. &nbsp,
