Myanmar beauticians held for working illegally on Samui

Five Myanmar immigrants were detained on Friday in Surat Thani province’s Koh Samui for allegedly working as beauticians without permission.

The workers at a shop on the holiday island, three women and two men, were apprehended by the tourist police because they were offering customers elegance and nail treatments, breaking Thai law that only allows Thai nationals to work in certain professions. &nbsp,

The Royal Thai Police’s crackdown on illegal immigration workers was a result of the detention.

Additionally, authorities discovered that the party had illegally entered the country from the country. According to the officers, they were being processed in accordance with Thai rules.

From June 5 to Oct 2, more than 2, 000 international nationals&nbsp, were arrested for unlawful work in Thailand, according to the Ministry of Labour.
