Moo Deng is now available for live streaming at Khao Kheow Open Zoo in all over the world. The park expects to earn up to 200 million baht in profits from one million readers in its 2024 fiscal year ending this fortnight. It earned more than 12 million ringgit from Sept 1 through Sept 19 as a result of a customer flow.
The public’s obsession with the two-month-old girl pygmy hippo has resulted in a 50 % increase in the number of tourists to the park, according to chairman Narongwit Chodchoy on Saturday.
Between Sep 1 and Sep 19, 81, 786 people visited Khao Kheow Open Zoo, where the park made a full of 12.97 million baht from ticket sales. He added that the aquarium anticipates receiving more than one million visitors overall and making more than 200 million baht for the current fiscal year that is kicking off this month.
Mr. Narongwit predicted that the Moo Deng mania will attract more foreign guests, particularly those from other Asian nations like Japan, China, and South Korea.
In contrast, he said the park has just launched a number of 24-hour life flows on zoodiolive .com to help those interested to see its wildlife, including Moo Deng, life. On 44, 000 people watched the torrents on Friday evening, said Mr Narongwit.
Visitors are particularly interested in seeing Moo Deng from 7.45am to 9am when she typically runs and jumps around while the park’s workers tidy her brush and during the day when the team feeds her mother Jona, according to Mr. Narongwit.
The zoo requires visitors who wish to pay Moo Deng a visit to queue up and allows them to watch the little hippo for five minutes during these times.
If they want more time, they have to queue again.
Moo Deng has been made a formal invitation to watch the Florida Grand Prix in Florida for the upcoming year.
The zoo’s Green Mountain restaurant also sold its first batch of 700 Moo Deng T-shirts for 329 baht.
