Monitor lizard wanders into 11th floor Punggol flat; captured by NParks

The monitor lizard appears to be around 1.5 meters long when glancing from the top of the ledge.

Mr Toh’s parents had been “quite excited” to see the reptile but their home companion, who was preparing supper when the affair happened, had jumped onto the dining tables in fear.

Mr. Toh posted the affair on the Facebook group for Waterway Terraces II occupants after making a video of the house war.

One writer called the gecko” Godzilla’s grandson”, while another said it looked like it was “admiring the beauty”.

There were mingled emotions on whether the screen lizard&nbsp, was” sweet” or “scary”.

Another resident commented: “( Thankfully, there were ) the invisible grilles, ( I ) ca n’t imagine if the lizard were to fall off the balcony”.

Most wondered how it could have climbed 11 columns.
