Mohammed Zubair: Supreme Court grants bail to Indian fact-checker

India’s Supreme Court provides granted interim bail to Mohammed Zubair, a leading fact-checker and journalist who spotlighted the ruling party spokesperson Nupur Sharma’s controversial comments against the Prophet Muhammad.

The top court ordered on Wednesday that Mr Zubair be released from jail immediately, saying there was clearly no justification in keeping him in guardianship.
