Inside a reptile, the body of an American man who disappeared while out fishing with friends has been discovered.

On Saturday, Kevin Darmody was last spotted at Kennedy’s Bend, a well-known salt crocodile biodiversity in an isolated region of northern Queensland.

Authorities euthanized two enormous crocodiles and discovered human bones after a two-day search of the area.

Although the body has not yet been officially identified, police claim that the 65-year-old’s search has come to a” horrible end.”

Mr. Darmody was a seasoned man and well-known figure in the Cape York place.

The two crocodiles, which were 2.8 meters long and 4.1 meters( 13.4 feet ) tall, were shot dead on Monday about 1.5 kilometers( 0.9 miles ) from the last location of the animal.

Only one of the snakes had human bones inside of it, but wildlife officials think both were involved in the incident.

The fishermen who were with Mr. Darmody at the time reported hearing him roar, followed by a loud burst, but they did not witness the incident.

His buddy John Peiti reported to the Cape York Weekly,” I raced home, but there was no sign of him, even his sandals on the lender and nothing else.”

In the tropical northeast of Australia, crocodiles are common, but threats are uncommon. Since record-keeping started in 1985, Mr. Darmody’s suicide is the 13th deadly attack in Queensland.
