In response to rumors that the claimant had been approached about withdrawing her situation, interior secretary Anutin Charnvirakul has ordered the governor of Phuket to stop lobbying in a situation involving a European man.

Mr. Anutin also shared a picture of the Line communication he sent to Sophon Suwannarat regarding the Thai doctor’s abuse case on the holiday area.

” Do n’t let it ( lobbying ) happen, Phuket governor”, reads the message that the minister copied to his Facebook page. Maintain a press conference to confirm your position that you will never tolerate bribe-taking and the case being overturned. Follow up the case strongly”.

Unverified reports that a guest allegedly contacted Dr. Thandao Chandam to ask her for money in exchange for reversing an assault complaint against Swedish national Urs Fehr, who had been physically assaulted, were made by the minister.

Mr Fehr, the 45- year- ancient coordinating producer of Elephant Sanctuary Park Co in Phuket, faces a charge of real assault for kicking the back of Dr Thandao, a doctor at Dibuk Hospital, on Feb 24, near his villa in Thalang district.

The physician and her companion were observing the sky from actions leading to the shore near the mansion the European man and his Thai wife had rented.

Mr Fehr has denied the charge. He claimed that as he approached the two females, whom he believed were trespassing, he slipped and fell on the actions. However, the actions were in reality built on common property and were eventually demolished.

A number of other information of foreigners acting poorly followed the Fehr event, which sparked outrage. In Phuket, Mr. Sophon established a specific task force to monitor foreigners, and it announced last week that it had filed 400 cases for several offenses.

The government of Phuket claimed that no one could interfere with the way the case was already being heard by the courts.

In response to the people outcry over the affair, Mr. Anutin had previously ordered Mr. Fehr’s card to be revoked. The Swedish man is permitted to remain in the country until his trial is over until his card expires on March 13.

Dr. Thandao’s parents steadfastly assured his family that it would not accept any money in exchange for the event being withdrawn.

He wrote to the attorney-general on Wednesday, asking for a review of Phuket’s prosecution’s selection to prosecute the defendant on a charge of using force to physically assault a person without inflicting any physical or mental harm.

Dr. Thandao, he said, thought the defendant’s accusations were” not consistent with the details” that his actions had caused her mental and physical damage.
