The Move Forward Party( MFP) urged the prime minister to rethink Pol Gen Permpoon Chidchob’s new appointment as education secretary because it was alleged that he assisted Vorayuth” Boss” Yoovidhya, the heir apparent to the Red Bull dynasty, in avoiding legal action.

MFP MP Teerajchai Phunthumas discussed the National Anti-Corruption Commission’s( NACC ) decision to formally accuse a number of people it found were involved in mishandling the infamous 2012 hit-and-run case by Mr. Vorayuth at the press briefing on Friday, & nbsp.

One of them is Pol Gen Permpoon, a former aide to the then-national police captain, Somyot Poompunmuang.

First on September 3, 2012, Mr. Vorayuth crashed his Ferrari into Pol Snr Sgt Maj Wichian Klanprasert’s bike in the Thong Lor area.

Mr. Vorayuth, who was then in his early 20s, drove away from the accident scene while dragging the defendant’s system 200 meters. He chose not to record it.

He left the country in 2017 after frequently disobeying requests to appear in court.

On some fees, the statute of limitations has now passed.

According to Mr. Teerajchai, Pol Gen. Permpoon changed the established speed estimate to reflect below-the-safety threshold and reassigned police officers who sought a crimson arrest warrant, which resulted in the dismissal of the case by the judge and the fleeing to London of Vorayuth.

Srettha Thavisin is the primary minister and leader of the Police Commission, according to Mr. Teerajchai, despite the fact that the punishment meted out to Pol Gen Permpoon is punitive in nature.

He may be required to weigh Pol Gen Permpoon’s eligibility for the education investment.

” With regard to the rich and poor, individuals question the justice of the judge technique.” According to Mr. Teerajchai, some people have received aid in this case to leave the country and avoid prosecution even today.

The authorities should launch another investigation to bring charges against additional conspirators and to return Mr. Vorayuth to confront his punishment, he continued, adding that the NACC’s report had confirmed the names of those involved in the hit-and-run case.

” The ruling authorities may issue an order for the Royal Thai Police to send a notice to Western police to capture Mr. Vorayuth using his fingerprint to detect him.”

However, given that Pol Gen Permpoon is a Bhumjaithai Party MP and those chairs are crucial to the coalition, I don’t think Mr. Srettha will continue to bring this situation out of the black.

Mr. Srettha informed the media that he has not already read the report.
