MFA sacks diplomat who was fined for filming naked boy at Tokyo public bath

The minister used his&nbsp cellular phone to covertly picture a 13-year-old first-year middle school student in the changing area of a public bathroom in February of last year, according to Chinese internet. The child was unclothed.

According to the Asahi Shimbun paper, the police were called and “multiple nude photos of female customers” were discovered on his cellphone. The minister continued, noting that he had taken the photos in various public baths, but that he had refused to go to the police place.

The minister “deleted the pictures on the spot” when asked to remove them from his mobile, Asahi reported. He reportedly deleted 700 pictures from his cellphone, which he claimed to have taken in the six months leading up to the event.

After being contacted by Chinese media sources, MFA was informed of the complaints on May 1, 2024. The minister, who had already completed his tour of duty in Tokyo as scheduled and then returned to Singapore, &nbsp, did not notify the government until he was given an explanation about it. &nbsp,

He was therefore given a pay raise.

Sim was later questioned by the police in Japan for in June last month, with Yomiuri Shimbun in the newspaper reporting that he had admitted to taking the pictures.

According to Yomiuri Shimbun, Sim was unable to control his wants when he saw a gentleman dressed, while Asahi reported that Sim was” surprised by the Chinese public bath society and became engaged in baths.”
