Keskamol Pleansamai, a controversal senator, is facing legal action from the Thai Medical Council for claiming to be a skin and beauty expert without qualification.

According to a source with knowledge of the situation, the mayor’s committee convened on July 12 to determine that Dr. Keskamol had violated Part 32 of the Medical Professions Act by blatantly describing herself as a beauty consultant without certification.

Dr Ittaporn Kanacharoen, the mayor’s secretary-general, was assigned to glance into Dr Keskamol’s says, and whether or not they form an honest violation under government regulations.

On August 8th, the panel will discuss the issue.

According to a article by Dr Ittaporn on Twitter on Thursday, out of the 76, 000 specialists in the country, 40, 000 are qualified professionals in different areas.

General professionals are defined as those who graduated with a medical education, and they are unable to pursue a specialty designation without the appropriate authorities ‘ approval.

Physicians who falsely claim to become experts in a specific area are subject to up to a year in jail and a fine of 10,000 pounds under Section 44 of the Medical Professions Act. The government will also withdraw their authorizations, he wrote.

Dr Keskamol, 46, holds a health degree from Rangsit University, one of the few things in her CV that has been verified. Her various claims of many graduate levels and a professorship have been regularly attacked by social media sleuths.

Her claim of a PhD from California University Foreign Credentials Evaluation (FCE ) Institution, which only issues certificates, has been especially well documented.

Dr. Keskamol, the owner of four beauty salons with a sizable online following, stated before that when she ran for president, she opted to participate in the Freelance Workers team rather than the Public Health group, which featured a large number of well-known individuals.

However, her attorney, Decha Kittiwittayanan, has responded to the complaints that the legislator faked her training page.

He claimed that Dr. Keskamol always claimed to have graduated, and that she is a graduate member at Chiang Mai’s Maejo University.

She is now a second-year scholar at Maejo University after being approved for a three-year doctoral program at the University of Agricultural Creation.

Mr. Deja attributed her profile’s inaccurate reporting to the internet.

Mr. Decha claimed that his client was visiting the institute as part of her doctoral research program in response to accusations that she had misled the public into thinking she was an intern at the National Institute of Development Administration ( Nida ).
