A man died after falling onto a wooden tube well cover and killing himself in Bangkok’s Lat Phrao district on Friday, according to the Metropolitan Electricity Authority ( MEA ).

Thitivut Ngernklay, MEA lieutenant governor, stated that the organization may accept full responsibility for the catastrophic error.

He claimed that because of the robbery of iron caps, the MEA had used momentary wooden contains throughout Bangkok. By the end of this week, the company will replace these temporary covers with practical ones, he added, while he said he’s awaiting the installation of new iron lids as a permanent solution.

The lieutenant govenor said,” We have to say that it is a blunder on our part.” ” We apologise”.

At 11.13 a.m. at the intersection of Lat Phrao Road and the Golden Line elevated trail at Soi Lat Phrao 49, the guy was reportedly fell into the MEA’s 15-meter-deep tube also. By the time his body was recovered about an hour after, it was known that he had died.
