A 26-year-old man who eventually admitted to using drugs has been detained for allegedly masturbating in common, assaulting a 30-year-old woman, and stealing her case in broad light at Kheha BTS skytrain place on Tuesday.

Suthat Chuayrot, a native of Samut Prakan’s Muang city, was arrested by officers a few hours after the attack on a train staircase about 9.38am on Tuesday. &nbsp, &nbsp,

He admitted to waiting, approaching, and sexually assaulting the girl as she climbed the stairs, repeatedly punching her in the face, then stealing her purse and fleeing as another man climbed the stairs.

The assault was recorded by a surveillance camera, Pol Col Nopphadon Changruean, commander of Samut Prakan’s Muang police station, said. This information was shown to the jury, which issued an arrest warrant.
