SINGAPORE: A 45-year-old man suspected of damaging property with catapult-launched metal pellets will be charged in court on Friday ( Jul 26 ).
Following authorities inquiries into numerous instances of broken windows at an HDB wall along Jelapang Road in Bukit Panjang on May 2, 2013, the man was detained.
Between February and April 2023, there were numerous accounts. According to the authorities, missiles fired from a place close to the wall were thought to have damaged the windows, according to a media release on Thursday.
After they learned the identity of the man, Jurong Police Division soldiers conducted the imprisonment along Jelapang Road in May.  ,
They , seized an assortment of clay and metal grains, wet gel balls, seven weapons, four airsoft guns, and one copy weapons capable of discharging water gel grains.  ,
Two samurai swords were also seized, along with customized containers, believed to have been used for target practice.
According to the officers, initial studies revealed that the man allegedly used a rocket to repeatedly shoot metal pellets at various metal signs along Jelapang Road from his residence.
Additionally, they added, the grains harmed the adjacent residential units ‘ windows.  ,
