Man kills himself in hospital after talking to ex-wife

A man committed suicide in a clinic in Bangkok on Monday immediately after talking to his former wife, a doctor who works at the hospital.

Pol Maj Gen Thananthorn Rattanasitthipak, commander of Metropolitan Police Division 4, said the incident occurred in the dotor’s secret chamber at the clinic in Lat Phrao area. The name of the doctor was withheld.

Sutthiphas Thitipornanant, 46, went to the hospital, talked to his ex- woman in her place for about five days and handed her some papers, according to invesigators.

The person then left to explore people in an opposite hospital, asking him to wait for her in the area. Soon after, a second gun was heard. &nbsp,

The man was found lying, bleeding on the floor in the room, and after pronounced deceased. A spent 9mm pistol bullet was found at the field.

Pol Maj Gen Thananthon said the former pair had divorced a week ago after being married for just one month.
