Man killed, wife shot by former employee

SONGKHLA: A furniture maker was shot lifeless and his wife injured by a former employee who barged into their home in Boom Klam district of this southern province upon Sunday.

The attack happened about 6. 30pm at a row house at Ban Khok Mao in tambon Tha Chang, Pol Maj Thattham Norawatmeeboon, Bang Klam main investigator, said.

He said the couple were furniture makers.

Police called to the scene documented that Achawee Cholsakhon, 30, was chance in the chest with a. 38 pistol. His wife, Veeravan Chuchuay, 27, had a skin wound from a bullet to her left arm.

They were each rushed to Head wear Yai Hospital, where Achawee was afterwards pronounced dead.

Neighbours told police the couple had rented the row house 3 months ago, and produced home furniture to order.

On Sunday evening, an ex employee identified only as An arrived in the pickup, accompanied by his young sister and three other guys. Witnesses said Mr An barged into the house and they noticed gunshots.

Mr An great companions then still left in the pickup.

Police were searching for Mr An and investigating feasible motives behind the attack.
