SINGAPORE: After a battle along Geylang Road, a 67-year-old gentleman was taken to the hospital but died after about two months.
The alleged attacker, Singaporean Zubir Mohamed, was charged in court on Thursday ( Aug 22 ) with one count of voluntarily causing grievous hurt.  ,
At around 2.35pm on August 3, the 40-year-old is accused of punching Mr. Sivarajoo Pitchay Pillai to the floor in the rear corner of 669 Geylang Road and punching his mouth.
As a result, Mr Sivarajoo fractured his skull, the command plate indicated.
According to a police speech, Mr Sivarajoo was taken aware to the doctor, but died from his injuries on Aug 19.
Zubir was eventually arrested. He has five different existing costs, most recently one of fraud, and has been remanded since August 8th.
In Bedok and Chai Chee, he allegedly stole things like cashcards, a cellphone, a bike, and other assets in June and July.
He is even accused of committing a criminal breach of trust by misappropriating a Casio watch and a diamond from another person.
Zubir was ordered to be remanded more for investigations, with authority to be taken to the field.
On August 29, he may go back to judge for a deeper discussion of his situation.
He could be jailed for up to 10 years, fined, or been caned if found guilty of deliberately causing severe harm.
He could be jailed for up to three years, fined, or both for each count of fraud.
For legal breach of trust by theft, he could be jailed for up to seven years, fined, or both.
