Man charged with forging death certificates of 3 people to get compassionate leave

A man was charged on Wednesday ( Aug 14 ) with forging three people’s death certificates in order to obtain compassionate leave.

A 30-year-old Taiwanese person named Nawwar Aisar Sardali was charged with forging death credentials to commit fraud under the Registration of Births and Deaths Act.

According to command plates, he first made a dying signature maybe before Oct 7, 2022, pertaining to a Abdul Halim Abdul.

Astilla Angelito Bourbon Dean, who was named Astilla Angelito, was the author of the document, who was supposed to mislead her into giving Nawwar attentive left.

The second cost claims that Nawwar fabricated a Abdul Baba death certificate from March 29, 2023 to deceive a Ryun Ong Wee Unit into giving him sympathetic leave.

In order to be granted sympathetic left by Ryun Ong Wee Lun, Nawwar reportedly forged a death certificate for a Kasmani Harun from July 12, 2023 along with an accompanying online death certificate.

Nawwar claimed to wish to enter a guilty plea, but he was n’t sure whether to retain a lawyer.

He claimed that his woman would be his promisor, but that he had to call her and that she was working.

If convicted of forging a death certificate, he can be jailed for up to 10 years, fined up to S$ 10, 000 ( US$ 7, 600 ), or both per charge.

This is the next time a person has been accused of a forged death certificate in as many months.
