Man charged with attempted murder by attacking police with improvised flamethrower at Pasir Ris Park

At the time, he was cited for violating the terms of his arrest warrant for a case involving severe harm and willful harassment.

On Saturday, Heng was charged with two counts in this case. The cost sheets claim that he allegedly freely punched a man’s face at Saizeriya Restaurant at 2 Tampines Central 5 on September 8, 2013.

The defendant’s head was fractured as a result. Additionally, Heng is accused of intentionally harassing another person by pointing his thick thumb in his way.

On November 29, he’ll be in jury again.

If found guilty of attempted murder, he could either be jailed for living and caned, or jailed for up to 20 years, fined and caned.

He could receive a 10-year prison sentence, a fine, or be even caned if found guilty of deliberately causing terrible harm.

For intentional harassment, he could be jailed for up to six months, fined up to S$ 5, 000 ( US$ 3, 760 ), or both.
