SINGAPORE: A , 23-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly deflating the tyres of at least five vehicles in a carpark in Woodlands, the Singapore Police Force ( SPF )  , said on Wednesday ( Nov 20 ).
SPF said it was alerted to a situation of evil at a multi-storey carpark along Woodlands Drive 14 at about 12.50pm on Tuesday, after a vehicle user discovered that her car four wheels had been deflated.
A brochure was likewise found on its windscreen.
At least four other cars in the area were in similar danger, according to preliminary studies.
Within eight hours of the document, Woodlands Police Department officers located the man and detained him in a news release, according to the police.
On Thursday, the man may face a charge of public annoyance in jury. If convicted, he faces a jail term of up to three months, a fine of up to S$ 2, 000 ( US$ 1, 490 ), or both.
In the Twitter party Complaint Singapore, a photo of what appeared to be a copy of the brochure was shared.
The brochure attributed the tire inflation to a movement that discourages the use of SUVs due to their harmful effects on the environment.
