SINGAPORE: A 24- season- old man was arrested on Sunday ( Apr 14 ) several days after an alleged retailer assault attempt , in Choa Chu Kang.
Around 3.15 a.m., the officers received an alert about the incident.  ,
According to a preliminary investigation, the man allegedly entered a mall along Choa Chu Kang Avenue 7 with a steel wire, according to a police press release.  ,
The guy then placed the pole on the waiter’s throat and demanded money.
The cashier refused to comply with the requirement, and the customer left the store. No wounds were reported”, said the policeman.  ,
Officials from the Jurong Police Division used images from officers cameras to establish the identity of the man during surface searches and other investigations to establish his identity. Within two days of the report, he was detained, and a steel shaft was found as a circumstance show.  ,
He may face a charge of attempted assault in court on Monday.
He faces at least six wood stroke, as well as no less than two and no more than seven years in prison if found guilty.  ,
