Man arrested after US$885 stolen from passenger on flight to Singapore

SINGAPORE: A 30-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stealing US$ 885 ( S$ 1, 120 ) in cash from a passenger on board a flight to Singapore, the police said on Wednesday ( Feb 5 ). &nbsp,

On Tuesday, the officers received an alert about 2pm about the situation. A customer saw the gentleman touching her case, which was stored in the overhead area, according to preliminary investigations.

The customer opened her case and confronted the person. She discovered that a stack of US money was missing and believed the man had taken her wealth. &nbsp,

After the plane landed at Changi Airport, officials from the Airport Police Division conducted studies. &nbsp,
