A Thai attorney who represents the home of a Myanmar employee who was killed last week during the shooting rampage at the Siam Paragon shopping center said he would ask the police to look into whether the perpetrator’s friends posed an immediate threat to another.
Lawyer Thanaphon Settheesombat, speaking on behalf of Khin Win, the mother of the Myanmar target, claimed there was proof that the 14-year-old gunman’s friends engaged in online activities and chatted in a way that suggested they were admiring the killing more than feeling any dread.
The attorney declared that he would present the evidence to the police and request that they take action to stop the cop’s friends from imitating the crime. He claimed that their actions caused worries for the security of Tawan, the later Myanmar nation, and his employer and coworkers.
Additionally, Mr. Thanaphon declared that he would stand up for Tawan’s family in both civil and criminal cases brought against the young shooter and his relatives. According to the attorney, Tawan’s family would have to immediately returning to her home country following the death on Sunday.
