SINGAPORE: Malaysia’s king will make an official visit to Singapore from Monday ( May 6 ) to Tuesday at President Tharman Shanmugaratnam’s invitation, Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Sunday. &nbsp,

This will be Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar’s second outside state visit since he was installed as Malaysia’s king. He next visited Singapore in 2022 as Sultan of Johor. &nbsp,

Sultan Ibrahim became Malaysia’s 17th prince in January, more than 34 times after his father’s era. &nbsp,

On his visit, he may be accompanied by Queen of Malaysia Raja Zarith Sofia, Malaysia’s Minister of Transport Anthony Loke and other senior leaders. &nbsp,

On Monday, Mr. Tharman and his family will host a state dinner in their honor at the Istana, and Sultan Ibrahim and his spouse will be welcomed with a royal pleasant. &nbsp,

He may also join with Finance Minister Lawrence Wong and Vice Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on an individual basis. &nbsp,

This will be Mr. Lee’s final significant browse as prime minister. On May 15, Mr. Wong may formally take the position of prime minister. &nbsp,
