402 children supposedly had been abused, some romantically, as a result of raids by Indonesian authorities on welfare houses in Selangor and Negri Sembilan.
201 boys and 201 girls were among the 201 people who were rescued, according to Malaysian Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain in a press conference held at the Pahang police headquarters on Wednesday ( Sep 11 ).
18 welfare homes in Selangor and two in Negri Sembilan were the sites of the operation, according to The New Straits Times ( NST ).
Razarudin said that” 171 individuals aged between 17 and 64, including caretakers, ustaz ( religious teachers ) and the chairmen of the premises” were arrested.
The rescued babies will , undergo wellness testing, he added.
According to Razarudin, first investigations revealed that the victims were taught to perform a similar work on the other children at the home as well as being sodomized by the caretakers, according to Razarudin.
When the subjects commit errors and the defendants touched the murderer’s body parts, he continued, they were punished using cooked material objects as punishment, he continued.
