
A Malaysian male was detained by police yesterday in connection with the military theft of jewelry from a golden store in Hat Yai on Tuesday. The jewelry was for about 7 million baht.
According to Pol Lt Gen Jirabhop Bhuridej, head of the Central Investigation Bureau, the arrest was made at 5:30 p.m. at the Southern Bus Terminal Bangkok, also known as Sai Tai Mai in Taling Chan city.
According to Pol Lt Gen Jirabhop, who was speaking about the imprisonment, the man was taken to the Crime Suppression Division for more investigation.
The Songkhla Provincial Court issued an arrest warrant for the think earlier this morning.
