Major supermarkets offer return vouchers to shoppers who use CDC vouchers

Singaporean supermarkets are offering return coupons to encourage customers to spend their Community Development Council ( CDC ) vouchers there.

The most recent round of CDC vouchers, which are designed to assist households in managing costs of living, was released on Friday ( Jan 3 ).

Similar to previous rounds, half of the S$ 300 ( US$ 220 ) vouchers can be spent at participating heartland merchants&nbsp, and hawkers, and the rest at supermarkets.

Some homeland stores and peddlers may offer extra savings or products to consumers who use CDC tickets at their stores this year in honor of SG60, while some supermarkets will also have in-house promotions. &nbsp,

Following the launch, four retailer stores- Cool Storage, Giant Singapore, NTUC FairPrice and Prime Supermarket- announced opportunities for customers to spend their CDC tickets. &nbsp,

How’s what each of them is offering:

NTUC FAIRPRICE

On Friday, FairPrice Group announced that it would deliver a S$ 6 returning voucher for every S$ 60 value of CDC retailer vouchers purchased at any FairPrice location.

Customers will be able to use the present through January 12.

There is no minimum purchase required to use these returning tickets. Additionally, customers will be able to use multiple transfer vouchers in one transaction. &nbsp,

The transfer vouchers will be redeemed from the date of their issuance until February 28.

According to FairPrice’s website, transfer vouchers cannot be used to purchase cigarettes, legal items such as lottery tickets, baby milk powder, prescription, and pharmacy-only medicines.

Also, Cold Storage and Giant said they would give a S$ 6 transfer card to users who spend a minimum of S$ 60 in CDC tickets at their stores. &nbsp,

Users will also get 600 points under their “yuu” loyalty program. &nbsp,

The advertising is active until January 9.

Customers who use their transfer vouchers at Giant or Cold Storage will not need to invest anything at all.

However, clients will only be allowed to use one profit ticket per transaction.

The redemption period for the returning tickets is until January 17, and forgiveness is available the day after they are issued.

Additionally, customers at both supermarkets may not be able to use the transfer vouchers for items like&nbsp, cigarettes, newspapers, and baby milk powder.

PRIME SUPERMARKET

For users shopping at Prime Supermarket, an S$ 80 least spend using CDC tickets is required to obtain a S$ 5 return ticket. &nbsp,

This advertising may be offered by the store until January 16.

Customers may transfer their gain receipts between January 4 and January 17 using their return receipts.

Also, the transfer vouchers cannot be used for things such as drinking, smoking, infant milk powder and raffle tickets.
